Rweteera Safari Park

It's not about volunteering, its fun exploring crater lakes of Uganda. Situated at entrance of Kibale Forest National Park at scenic Lake Nyabikere, Rweteera Safari Park area is one of Uganda’s most rewarding destinations to explore. It’s located just outside Kibale National Park 18km along Kamwenge road, Fort Portal Western part of Uganda. Travellerers willing to volunteer at Rweteera Safari Park will have the opportunity to interact with local communities, explore crater lakes, do forest walk, visit tea estates, visit orphanages and schools, help in local hospitals or health centers. The accommodation for their stay has been designed and furnished with nature in mind creating a feeling of comfort and relaxation in the chimp & crater lakes region. All units include a seating and dining area. There is also a self catering kitchen. There is an eco friendly open bathroom with hot shower and with free toiletries in every unit. Bed linen is featured. A unique experience and one not to be missed is a 'Lake Dinner' where one dines at lakeside and Black & White colobus monkeys your fellow diners! The property also offers packed lunches. VOLUNTEER IN RWENZORI MOUNTAINS 'MOUNTAINS OF THE MOON' Do you love Hiking? Our volunteering activities at the foothills of mountain Rwenzori suit you. Come stay with locals of NTOROKO and help on social community activities like health, education, tourism, agriculture etc. In your free time visit the batwa pygmies, go for game drives in semliki valley national park and boat ride at lake albert not forgeting local dances/entertainment. Am born and raised at Kibale forest home of chimpanzees and crater lakes,a trained tour guide with great experience interacting with travellers and have friendly staff. Que time incrível! Que lugar encantador! Que natureza! Meus dias na frente desse lago com hipopótamos foram demais. Eu tinha minha própria barraca super confortável e o trabalho ao lado desse equipe não poderia ser mais leve. Ajudava na cozinha, a cuidar do jardim... me davem a liberdade de como e quando fazer. Também me mostraram a beleza da região, fiz caminhadas, visitei hot springs...foi demais! Sem contar poder apreciar o canto dos belos passarinhos que o país tem! Não deixe de apreciar o contato com a natureza do lugar!
