This experience offers a welcoming environment where I've improved my Spanish. The staff treats me with respect, and I've made friends from around the world. Exploring the beautiful city and its culture every weekend is a joy. Highly recommend!

Working at SALC in Riobamba was a great experience!
Everyone at the school has been super welcoming (both teachers and students), what made the work very enjoyable, even if it can get a bit monotonous at times.
I also felt very comfortable in the flat, which is located directly in the school.
Last but not least, the city of Riobamba has many good and cheap restaurants and offers many opportunities for activities (especially hiking - and you can also see the Chimborazo from the school).
All in all, I would have loved to stay longer!

i had a really good experience. i took students for conversations in English monday-friday for five hours. it was easy and i met lots of interesting people. i was allowed to choose my hours and when i was sick for two days they were understanding. thank you karo and esteban for the experience :)

I enjoyed working in South American Language Centre so much :) I connected really well with the staff and the students, such amazing people! And I did not want to leave. I learned incredibly a lot about the local culture, even had my chances to practice Spanish, and felt completely safe and comfortable during all of my stay.
