Somos un lugar situado en los alrededores del pueblo rodeado de naturaleza tranquilidad y paz , donde el cantar de los pájaros te despertara cada mañana. Nuestras instalaciones están cerca del pueblo donde podrás realizar distintas actividades turísticas. Somos ecofriendly y nuestro proyecto se enfoca en la educación de los niños entre otras actividades que podrías ayudarnos.

Nuestra corporativa cuenta con un centro de educación, hotel y una finca donde nos dedicamos a la cosecha de frutas y plantas. Nuestro personal es muy amable y atento. Buscamos recibir nuestros voluntarios de la manera más atenta con respeto y felices de tenerlos con nosotros, hacerles sentir como en casa y trabajar en equipo.

We had the most amazing time in Poptún with this project. This project is truly changing the future of Poptún - education, empowerment, gender equality, health… this school is doing it all. And its fearless leader, Mishelle, is the most wonderful person. We spent our mornings assisting English class for children ages 2 - 14, and in the evenings we helped with adult community English classes. Logistics: The school is located on the edge of Poptún and with the bikes provided, you can easily explore the town/grocery shop/go to the gym/etc. 10/10 we would recommend this experience!

Volunteering at Colegio Internacional was an incredibly special experience! The community in Poptun welcomed me with open arms, and I’m so grateful to Mishelle and Juan for making me feel like part of the family. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the children—whether it was baby gym, primary school activities, or collaborating with the other teachers. The highlight of my time there was definitely being able to participate in the vibrant Christmas celebrations that Poptun has to offer.

It definitely helps to speak Spanish, and be okay with a cabin in the woods.

One of the most enriching experiences that Sofia and I had, contributing our time so that our little ones had a more fun and productive holiday. A big thank you to everyone who helped us make our journey more beautiful, especially Mishelle for taking the initiative to have volunteers at the school. Let's hope to see our little ones soon ☺️

My experience at the school was really fun, I volunteered for three weeks and had an enjoyable time. The children are the sweetest, and the teachers are fun and welcoming, including Mishelle and her husband who were super accomodating.

The town is maybe a 20 minute walk away or you can ride a bike, but it is pretty dark from 6/7pm so wouldn’t recommend being out at that time. I’d also add that the school and volunteer cabin is based in a jungle/forest, so it is helpful for all parties that you don’t mind this, insects, noisy roosters, and being outdoors etc!

My time at the school here was so nice.
The children, teachers and Michelle welcomed me so warmly and with open arms and I immediately felt welcome.
The children were super friendly and loving and always managed to put a smile on my face, which made working with them so easy.
I would like to thank Mischelle from the bottom of my heart, who was always there for me when I had questions and who made me part of the family for this time.
Thank you to the teachers who showed me their culture and their home.
Thanks to the children, You have made this a very special time for me.
