The perfect place for peace and quiet! I loved my stay at the guest house, the job is not hard and we get all of our afternoons free! I got to live in the apartment with Lewis, his girlfriend Angel and an other volunteer ! the apartment is cosy; netflix, books, board games, there’s a kitchen and we have our own room with the view on the mountains! I highly recommend this volunteering experience !

Our experience here was great! Lewis and Angel are lovely people and the flat that you stay in a nice cozy little space. The work is quite easy, it’s organised when you get there what days you are working which was super helpful to know in advance. Kinlochleven however is a very small town, there is plenty of hiking around the area and it is absolutely beautiful, but if hiking and being outside isn’t your thing you might get a bit bored. I personally didn’t do many hikes but Lewis has a heaps of puzzles and games and things to keep me occupied so that was awesome.

We had a very cosy apartment to live in above the bed and breakfast, shared with Lewis and angel but they usually used the downstairs areas. Tasks were easy and well communicated, shift times were printed in advance around our schedules so very professional and considerate. It is a small town so food, and getting there is expensive and long. However would definitely recommend if you love hiking as absolutely beautiful area.

I'm so grateful for my time in Kinlochleven and Tigh Na Cheo. Lewis and Angel are very kind ,fun and respectful with the hours and work.They are great hosts. They teach everything you need to know to do the tasks,which are easy. Michelle is a wonderful person to work with. It is a peaceful place, beautiful nature and kind people. I could relax, travel in my days off,cook and go for walks. I recommend 100% if you're looking for peace and reconnection with nature. I only missed more interaction with the hosts.I loved our Easter Dinner with parsnips! Thank you so much Lewis,Angel and Michelle! ❤
