Viajero Paracas

We are located in Paracas, home of the kitesurfers in Peru. We are also an hour away from Huacachina (Ica) where you can surf the dunes. Every person who volunteered with us gained new friends, improved their Spanish and became part of a family. We are a family here and we would like you to join us! We are a hostel with about 89 beds that is usually full all year round. We have space for up to 10 volunteers. We work hard and play hard with the best vibes and joy. Volunteers will always enjoy their time here and make new friends from all over the world.

I loved my time here at Viajero! The team was so welcoming and helpful while working and for providing recommendations and fun activities to do on my days off. I did not know any Spanish at the start of my exchange but the bartenders were amazing in helping me learn quite a bit of Spanish that I will forever be grateful for! I would strongly recommend this experience to those wanting to volunteer in a party hostel! I will never forget my six weeks here and would definitely do it all over again:)

The people made the experience worth it. All the staff is very kind and most of them are willing to let you practice Spanish, as most only speak Spanish! My only complaint is that the accommodations aren’t great. The volunteers stay in volunteer dorms with 4 beds, this part is great, but it’s not well kept and the bathroom is never cleaned or restocked. If you have allergies, which I do, the kitchen tried to accommodate but most of the time this meant I was only having half the meal. The location is beautiful as long as you’re okay with loud music all the time.

Esse foi um dos melhores voluntariados que eu ja fiz, cumprem todos os acordos, o lugar é lindo em frente a praia as festas são incriveis, a comida é muito gostosa os funcionários são receptivos o Luis é um otimo anfitrião ❤️, agradeço ao Leo por cada ensinamento, a Evy é muito organizada e muito legal, os funcionários do bar são muito legais e os de recepção também

¡Un lugar increíble para hacer un voluntariado! Pasé tres semanas geniales allí. Todo el personal es muy amable, las tareas son sencillas y bien explicadas. ¡Lo recomiendo! ;)

Absolutely loved my time at viajero in paracas! everyone is so friendly and ends up feeling like family! the shifts weren’t too hard and shared evenly between all volunteers. the activities on everyday were so fun and we could participate in everything even if we were working. I love the vibe and energy of the hostel. I got to meet and chat with lots of guests too which was really nice. this hostel felt like a second home and i would stay for much longer if i could!! i love love love it!
