We are the first project in Oaxaca State looking forward to preserve agave species, organic farming, and handmade organic Mezcal.
We support the plantations by helping planting caring and harvesting our fields. Sometimes it's not easy but there is lots to learn.
I'm Jorge, a Mexican and former volunteer around Serbia, Turkey and Germany. I will welcome volunteers as I have been welcomed in those amazing projects. As a host, friend and colleague, I will answer all your questions regarding the project, my country and agaves. Maybe all of this will make volunteers fall in love with Mexico, Oaxaca, and our great cultural heritage.

C'était super ! Jorge est très accueillant ! L'ambiance était superbe, on se sent comme à la maison. Le lundi et parfois le jeudi sont destinés à d'autres travails que dans les champs donc c'est bien car ça permet de varier et la région est vraiment super à visiter. Que du bonheur !

Jorge was a true gentleman from the moment I met him until the end of the three weeks I volunteered. Jorge has created an ambitious project that he is continuously working to expand and develop, meaning no two weeks are the same. And this project will probably always keep improving.
Jorge was a great leader that respected the volunteers privacy and working hours while also ensuring that a team spirit was developed. He is always ready for a chat and he makes sure that the volunteers feel welcome in the community.
Jorge also asks volunteers for suggestions for improvement in the house/project.

Jorge was a great host always friendly and upbeat, the work was tough but rewarding and varied. Overall I loved the stay the long weekends are great to do short trips to other parts of Oaxaca. The team side of the volunteering is also great with group meals and events for everyone. The days of community work are enjoyable and help give back to the local community. I would 100% recommend this project, Jorge is trying to do some great work and it was nice to be involved in it!

Koko es a todo dar, por su experiencia en voluntariados conoce bien que es lo que uno busca en este tipo de intercambios y tambien que ofrecer, se esta muy a gusto. El aprendizaje y experiencias son únicas, el mezcal es todo un mundo por descubrir y si quieres sumergirte en el aquí es el lugar correcto.
