Volunteers can stay in a very nice place, in contact with nature, animals (cause we have 2 dogs and 1 cat), near the beach.
They will help in the open air, such as gardening, olive harvest in October, that is a very nice experience.
As our guests are foreigners and also Italian, they can have the possibility to speak not only Italian but also English, french and german, and increase their level. We're in the middle of Catania and Syracuse, so they can visit and know this part of Sicily that is wonderful.
As I travelled very much, I know what this means stay in a new country with a new culture. I work with volunteers from years, some of them stay more than 1 year, and they become part of the family.

Villa Augusta is a very quiet and peaceful place. If you want to spend time outside with not too many people around and realx a little, this is perfect. It was a bit difficult to reach other places from there because it wasn't that central but it's not a big problem to ask Manolo for a ride.
The tasks were not too difficult and the work hours were also respected.
I'm so happy that I had such a great time with the other volunteers and we got along so well. Thank you very much for welcoming me so kindly (and letting me improve my Spanish a bit) and also to Andrea for taking care of everything.

Foi lindo retornar a Vila. Passei dias lindos, Sicília tem dias incríveis nessa altura do ano, então valeu muito a pena retornar por isso também. Me conectei com pessoas muito boa onda, os horários de trabalho são sempre respeitados e as tarefas são simples de fazer. Alessandro é um afitrão muito gentil, sempre disposta a fazer do voluntariado uma casa para nós. Gracias Ale!

Meus dias na Vila Augusta foram maravilhosos. O local é lindo, energia boa e os anfitriões são pessoas maravilhosas. Durante toda minha estadia fui muito respeitada, me sentir em casa de verdade. Os horários de trabalho são sempre respeitados e as tarefas são muito tranquilas. Se você está buscando um local para se conectar com a natureza e ter dias de tranquilidade a vila é o local ideal. Ale e Pablo são duas pessoas lindas, coração gigante e muito boa energia, eles sempre levam os voluntários para passear nas cidades vizinhas e nas praias, são os melhores. Eu amei e recomendo!
