Woolshed Backpackers

We're a friendly family run hostel with a unique outback vibe set on 1 acre of lush tropical garden in the centre of Hervey bay. Our helpers live together in a 3 bedroom traditional Queenslander. We provide local knowledge, discounts on all tours and free wifi.

Brent and Megan have backpacked around the world have owned the Woolshed for the past 8 years. Helpers stay with us for 2 weeks up to 8 months at a time. Work is 2-3 hours per day and can be cleaning, gardening, and driving (reception work is an option if planning to stay for at least 3 months.)
