We are offering you an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a hostel in a cool environment and you will have the chance to do now one of the most beatiful town in Portugal and also deal with local people. Our hostel is a brand new surf hostel located in Peniche famous for the amazing surf area, just 1h from Lisbon. We open our doors in 2019 and is the 6 hostel of our group. Just in the city center. Its also close in walking distance to supermarket, city center, bars, restaurants...and of course surf spots.
We are a friendly and young team with different backgrounds. We love to learn new things and we also hope that you learn something while you are here.

WOT Peniche has been an amazing experience for me: not only you’ll be able to immerse yourself in a beautiful nature, with long walks and surfing sessions, but the atmosphere inside the hostel is amazing itself: staff, guests and volunteers spend a lot of time together, having meals together and going out for surfing, and all the people I’ve met were really easygoing, open and welcoming.
I fully recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed time in a beautiful city by the beach, and if you’re looking forward to talk and sharing moments with other travelers :)

This volunteering experience is absolutely amazing. WOT Peniche is an incredible place to work and I would have stayed longer if I could. The place is very big, beautiful, clean, and organized. Tharik and the people working at the reception are the best and we had a very good relationship between the volunteers and the employees. The job is easy and flexible, especially during winter with few guests. There are many good advantages to staying in this hostel and I believe we had the better deal. I would recommend this volunteer job to anyone, don't hesitate to message me so I can tell you more!

I had a wonderful experience in WOT Peniche!!♡ The hostel itself is a very nice place and maybe that's why it attracts cool&friendly people who later can become your friends:) During the winter season Peniche is a quiet town, so it becomes a perfect place to enjoy the uncrowded nature. Which is really stunning here) I also had an opportunity to try surf lessons, and I can say that everything here is worth the time and efforts spent (it may sound as if the work was hard..but it wasn't, all the tasks were super manageable!). To conclude, I'm feeling very very grateful for my time here :)

WOT Peniche!! What an amazing place to volunteer! The work is well organised and simple. A lot of volunteers and travelling guests to hang out with and make cool connections with. You stay in a nice bunkbed dorm with a shower and ensuite with 5 other volunteers. The kitchen is massive and so nice, easy to cook dinners. Free breakfast as well, A great bonus! Join the surf lessons, or go surfing yourself, its the perfect surf destination. Sending all my love to Jacinta, Tharik, Theo and Bruno for making my experience a really positive one!! (PS. theres a cool cat to hang out with too)
