YHA LeeValley

YHA Lee Valley is not only located in a beautiful country park, the local rail station is just a few minutes' walk away, and London is easily accessible within 20 to 30 minutes.
The team are super friendly, helpful and always willing to answer your questions. Volunteers are always accommodated in their own room (sometimes shared with other volunteers but never guests) and have access to free breakfast every day and a shared kitchen to do their own cooking.

Our staff are helpful, patient and experienced in working with and training volunteers. The volunteers are not expected to work more than 25 hours per week, and are trained in-house by our skilled kitchen and housekeeping teams. Volunteers are not expected to work the day they arrive, we allow time to settle in and explore the area. They are valued members of the hostel team during their placement.

It was a good experience. It is surrounded by a very beautiful nature reserve to explore, I think that is the highlight of volunteering. The managers were friendly and respectful.

The place is really beautiful with parks and lots of nature close by, the staff were always nice and kind to me, the hours are respected and the accommodation is pretty great. I really enjoyed my time there and recommend if you like to be close to nature.

The hotel is in the middle of natural park very nice. so if you are looking for contact with nature it's perfect. The team are friendly. The hours are respected. I recomend this place to conect with other volunteers.

It was my first experience as a volunteer so I didn't know what to expect!

I was very welcoming by the team.
The place is in the park so it feels really peaceful.

The room was big and comfortable, there is a shared kitchen at the lodge where you stay.

I most enjoyed participating in kitchen tasks and also having tasty breakfasts every day!

Shifts may change sometimes so you need to be flexible. However if you need to change your shift for any reason they are flexible too.

The staff is very friendly and if there is any situation, they make sure to resolve it so that you feel comfortable.

Eu adorei o tempo que passei na Yha (tanto que extendi minha permanência), o trabalho é bem simples, respeitam os horários, ótima convivência com a equipe. Um café da manhã reforçado. Eu recomendo bastante.

I loved my time at Yha (so much so that I extended my stay). The work is very simple, they respect the schedules, and the team is great to work with. A hearty breakfast. I highly recommend it.
