The yoga studio is in a small town, 3000 people, in a trilingual setting (English/French/Spanish) and a bi-cultural town (French/British). Vegetarian Mexican-American Maria speaks English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese; husband, ALAIN, a retired dairy, cattle, corn and wheat farmer speaks nothing but FRENCH and loves to teach his language to our volunteers ! Maria has visited 62 countries, Alain just got his passport :) Please look up our reviews ;) We host yoga, meditation and fasting retreats once a month. We need help setting up the rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, garden furniture, etc. before and after retreats and assistance with webpage, photos, and short videos.
We treat everyone with love, an open heart and as a member of our family. We are a team and help, support and encourage each other. We make no distinctions, we are all equal: origin, nationality, religion, beliefs, language, customs. We love people and life ! Come find peace and calm in our rural setting connecting to nature. Please google the following nearby beautiful places to visit: Mount Saint Michel, Saint Malo, Dinard, Cancale, Normandy beaches, etc. etc. We take our volunteers there or they can go on their own with our car. YOU MUST DRIVE AND HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE (ISSUED 2 YEARS PRIOR OR MORE) AS WE PROVIDE A CAR TO OUR VOLUNTEERS SO THEY CAN MOVE AROUND.

Being two weeks with Maria and Alain has been incredible! They’re lovely, respectful, caring and generous. They appreciate and accept everyone as they are. They commit to make the volunteering experience exceptional. We had good communication, we had some changes on the activities, but I was open to it. I recommend this experience for those who are flexible and open minded.
Plus you have a lot of contact with nature because the farm is isolated from the towns.
I’m grateful and fulfilled. I’d like to come back to visit them, we’re family now. I enjoyed riding bike and cooking with them.

Alain y María became family. I’m really greatful for all their kind acts and love. Also the great people I met here. I’ve learned so much from all of them. The experience with them is just healing, soul nourishing and amazing.

It was amazing experience working with them. I felt very welcoming from the beginning. Maria and Alain (her husband) are incredible and warmth people. I am so glad that I got to know them. We shared our culture, I practice my French a bunch with them and when it was nice weather Maria used to take us to sightseeing and to get to know the locals.
I really had a great time and I am grateful for that.

I have no words to say how great it was! I met incríveis open minded and lovely volunteers during the work, the hosts were flexible, lovely, patient and so kind! I will miss the city and the friends I’ve done in Gorron. There’s a lot of work to do but the hosts are flexible and the hours of work are respected. I truly recommend this experience!
