El intercambio

This position begins at 15:30 am or 17:30and lasts 8 hours. You will be in charge of receiving, registering, charging and orienting guests. You will update online bookings and manage social media posts in addition to making guests feel comfortable or uncomfortable (if they are making too much noise) haha.

he bulk of the work during those months is reception and care of guests. You would responsible for managing the on line reservations as well. One much be pretty focused and enter the information correctly or we get overbookings. A typical shift starts at 17:00 and ends around 1 am. During that time, the receptionist is responsible for answering phone, door, guest questions, giving a tour when they arrive, receive payment, make receipts, prep for breakfast the next day and clean the guest kitchen at the end of the night. Depending on the staff, we also put on social events for guests that requires a bit of organization and willingness to clean up after the party


Actividades & Turnos

On some days, you may be required to work the morning shift. That consists of helping guests with the checkout process, storing bags, serving breakfast, washing and hanging clothes, answering phones, receiving new arrivals. There are two people on that shift in the high season, The cleaner does the bulk of the cleaning but reception helps with cleaning the common areas and outdoor kitchen.

We have high standards of service so there are a checklists that need to be fulfilled, it can be demanding when we are busy but there is plenty of time for socializing with guests, it just requires a bit of organization to get the other work done in a timely manner.


Reglas

You must enjoy working with people. This is a people job, lots of fun for the right person and torture for the timid. also Must be neat and orderly, able to keep your belongings contained and give priority to guests in common areas. No overnight guest allowed. Must be conscious of consumption and impact on others striving to reduce your footprint and not waste energy.
