Wanderfalls is a small home hostel. In addition, we have 2 other houses in the same neighborhood that we rent out as whole house vacation rentals.
Information
The volunteer time is approximately 3-4 hours a day, with one day off per week. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and make up the bedrooms, clean the kitchen, hallway, bathrooms, and outside areas.
Covid changed some of the ways we conduct business including instituting self-check-in. There is no reception duty but staff should be able and willing to showing the guest(s) maps and inform them about what to do in the area, and helping them with things in the hostel. Finally, depending upon the workload, we may ask for help with gardening and special projects.
What we Provide
We will provide a bed for each helper in a private “apartment” above the hostel. We also provide a food stipend of $100 per week.
The typical hours are from 11 am, after guests check out, until 3 pm. During that time you will be cleaning and doing laundry and maybe some light gardening.

You will be able to use the hostel’s kitchen. All other meals you will need to purchase and prepare yourself. We will provide you with a weekly stipend of $100 for purchasing groceries.
