Overall Aarhus is a wonderful place and even the Hostel itself was cool. I just felt that along with the host and the volunteers there's more of a private party going on having me felt left out for I don't know what reason but seemed common background related. Denmark is a beautiful country with the most loveliest people in the world so a foreigner like myself just like the host and volunteers should blend in like how the Danes make us feel in their lovely country where I've lived since 2012. Also when it was agreed for me to volunteer for at least three weeks but suddenly they made it a week.

Good experience overall, the hostel is located in the center of the hostel and it's easy to visit different parts of Aarhus. the hostel is lovely and I had a great time with the people I met there. The work during high season is intense, I had to work extra time to finish sometimes. But you're not allowed to take breaks or to finish before when the work is done. I recommend this position for the social experience.

Amazing experience! I have met beautiful souls :) Aarhus is a very pretty the hostel and a lot of nature really close to it. Work is not difficult and give a lot of time off to enjoy the country. Thank you for this first great experience as a volunteer. Lots of love to the amazing team of the hostel ✨

An amazing bunch of people work here, make you feel right at home and are very welcoming. During our stay pretty much everyone spoke Spanish so we definitely improved that as well! The work was exactly as we expected and was very relaxed and easy. Lots of time to explore the hostel and chill out. Would love to come back again one day :)

I really enjoyed my time here. The atmosphere between the other volunteers is great and work is easy to be done, but you need to be responsible to do all of your tasks. You also have to work 5 hours, or more if you haven't finished, but not less, even if you have finished your tasks. There are 4 shifts: breakfast (6-11), early cleaning (7-12) cleaning beds (10:30-16:00) evening cleaning (16:00-21:00) Basically the shifts are cleaning toilets, vacuum, clean kitchen You sleep in a room with up to 10 people, and can eat any food you want. I recommend it a lot! Thank you!

The months that i stayed in the hostel were amazing. The job is flexible, and you have a lot of free time to explore the hostel and get to know the Danish culture! There are a lot of workawayers, so you have the chance to know a lot of new people :) The managers, receptionists and the owners are incredible, and a solid working team. Thanks for this two months.💛💛💛💛💛💛

Just finished 1 month at the hostel and I would honestly recommend this to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in Danish culture. At the beginning it was a little chaotic, but it improved (specially after Anto started organizing the schedule). Though we had some tough times, we were always supported by the team and felt at home since the first moment. the hostel is great, lively with good atmosphere. The staff and volunteers are like one big family that I'm proud to have been a part of. I'm going to miss you all very much!!

This was my first volunteering experience and It has been amazing. I'm so happy that I had the chance to meet amazing people and living in Denmark was so fun that I already wanna come back. The truth is that the first two days I was tired because I was not used to work that much, but then you get used to it and it's pretty fun :) I would 100% recommend this volunteering program if you wanna meet internacional and local people and If you want to have fun in a Danish the hostel like Aarhus!!
