Staying there was a truly pleasant experience. The staff always tried to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Everything about the shifts was properly organised and the tasks conveniently sorted to be carried out by the volunteers. The hostel centric location made it easy to go around town without the use of public transport. All reasons why I'm utterly grateful and couldn't ask more from them during my 2 month stay.

The hostel was my first experience as a volunteer and fortunately it was wonderful 🇩🇰❤️. Not only the staff but also the mates were friendly and kind in every moment. I could learn a lot think concerning to work in a hostel, they taught me with calmness. In addition, Denmark is a country full of nice people. In terms of accommodation, the hostel is totally cozy.

Placed in one of the most artistic and charming cities I've seen, the hostel is, beyond all dispute, an outstanding place to volunteer. I want to clear up that this is a place where you are expected to work as thoroughly as possible, something which is usual in this kind of place. Having said that, the staff is so friendly and understanding, they'll listen to any request and suggestion you have and even advise you on the best spots to party and even go with you! All my love and best wishes to Lilian, the receptionists, and the staff who were very kind and patient with me :)

It was my first experience volunteering. Without doubt I will come back. Denmark 🇩🇰 is in my heart as also the hostel too. Everyone was respectful and friendly, I met amazing people that become friends. I will never forget this time being at the hostel. I wish could come back…

I had few days there because I got sick and I needed come back to my country. But the 4 days I stayed there I didn't feel the volunteer environment like I had in the others volunteers. I arrived on Friday and I didn't see the host until Monday (which was very quickly and not welcoming). I needed to ask information to the other volunteer, including about my job, my accommodation and etc. They said my 1st day job would be on Wednesday (almost 1 week without job). The kitchen and the food pantry was locked all the time and we needed a key, which was one for everyone and used for other things.

The volunteers are very nice and a nice group has been created and the hostel is in the centre. Food is almost never lacking but little variety. The only negative note was the coexistence with bedbugs for a period even if they did not concern me personally

If you want to travel internationally, then you've come to the right place. the hostel is a place where different nations and countries are welcomed. Because you have a lot of free time together and work together, we had the chance to know each one better. Of course, you shouldn't expect a luxury hotel. All volunteers sleep together in one room, sharing one bathroom, a common kitchen and sharing one recration room. The work is easy and usually less than fife hours. Questions were always answered. The hostel is located in the hostel center. It is an active, green, artistic and historical the hostel.

A great group of volunteers in a very good location! While the atmosphere leans more towards a hotel than a hostel, limiting guest interactions, there's always enough food to go around, even if the variety could be improved at times. The host is accommodating when it comes to dates. However, it's important to mention that there was an unfortunate and persistent issue with bed bugs during my entire one-month stay. Despite this challenge, it has been a great experience.

Positives: Located in the hostel centre Other volunteers are friendly <3 Negatives: No hostel tour/introduction on arrival by staff, just got left in the volunteer's dormitory Didn't meet the host until a week after arriving! Wasn't provided a work schedule until after a couple of shifts Responsibilities and expectations associated with tasks was not explained, you just pick it up from other volunteers The "hostel" is more of a hotel; mainly filled with permanent guests and large groups, such as school kids, so hardly any social atmosphere Understaffed, so high workload for volunteers

The volunteers are nice and intelligent guys. the problem is knowing how to handle the unexpected if a person has a health problem (for serious reasons) you have to meet that person and try to help them find another commitment to make themselves useful! I also try to make people think because I have tried to propose myself with other tasks but it is not possible for unknown reasons! and then you have to give yourself time to speak English again after 3 years of pandemic! English comes back just practice! I made friends with the volunteers and it was a good group. unfortunately it didn't go wel
