We've taken over a hostel in San Diego and the previous tenant painted over 25 years of eclectic and vibrant artwork. We want to restore the property to it's original glory and you can help! We're looking for artists who can not only follow our vision to create a celebration of San Diego that chronicles what makes the city so awesome but also share some creative ideas of their own.

We have a vision of the art we want to do but are also open to ideas from our artists. We will need to see prior work to make sure we're on the same vibe. We'll provide paints and materials.
As long as 25 hours a week are given, we are open on times of day worked. We do have some particular pieces we wish painted to start but also open to ideas. We do expect artists to be neat and clean up after themselves.
We believe hostels are a place of inclusion and expect all our team members to be open minded, accepting and curious about others and the world. We expect that the respect we give to our team and our guests is reciprocated. We also like to laugh at ourselves and weird and wonderful world of hostels and like staff with a sense of humor who can roll with the ups and downs of hostel life.
We are a no smoking/vaping facility (by law) and while we expect our team to enjoy their time in San Diego, it is necessary that when helping out team members be sober and fit to work. No use of 'substances' is allowed while on shift.
Team members may share a dorm and we do expect they keep their living space tolerably clean.
