Amazing experience! Everyone is so nice and loving. I felt welcomed. The Arizona sky and desert mountains are beautiful. The volunteer housing was great and warm also. Rocío, who took care of the volunteers was so sweet and always making sure we were having fun, planning activities for us :) Thank you for the experience!

The Center is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer, meet international travelers, and learn about Tibetan Buddhism. The guest/volunteer cottages are well-equipped with everything you need and private. There are a variety of outdoor and indoor volunteer tasks like painting, landscaping, and cleaning. The DM team is committed to creating a special environment and practicing the tenets of Buddhism like mindfulness, meditation, and caring for all beings. The center is in a unique and remote location and is a good opportunity to reconnect.

This was a great opportunity to connect with nature, learn new skills, and make new friends :) the Center is a truly beautiful place filled with kind-hearted people. The desert invites you to be deeply present and to appreciate life in all its shapes and forms. Seeing the Milky Way from my bedroom window each night was an experience I won't soon forget. ❤️

Thanks for everything Diamont the Center and its staff. They are lovely, and the happiest person I have met, which I was astonish. I definitely would go back, it is the perfect place to live, put into practice and learn about budism teachings.

I have had a wonderful time here at the Center, the people are all so welcoming and you will immediately feel at home and at ease. I've learned so much about practicing Buddhism during my stay here which I'll be able to bring with me everywhere I go. Thank you to all the wonderful people I've been able to meet at the Center 💎❤️

My time at the Center was so heart warming. Everyone was extremely welcoming. I made friends there that now we've made plans to go on future adventures with. Being there has offered me an experience like no other where I felt truly connected to the nature around me.

I loved my time at the Center. All the volunteers and workers were welcoming with open arms. During this trip I was able to learn about Buddhism and the teachings. The housing was very nice and the chefs were amazing! I would recommend this experience to someone who is looking to further know themselves and meet wonderful people to help along the way.

It was a wonderful experience, and the hosts were really kind. The busiest time of the Center is when I went, and our schedules were jam-packed with various events. It was great pleasure to meet people from all over the world. I was working in the kitchen, but service and hospitality. We also enjoyed a trip to the hot springs, painted the powerhouse, and built stairs for the paths. This is a fantastic location for a digital detox and connecting with nature. In addition to teaching about my own religion, Islam, I was able to learn a lot about Buddhism.

I stayed at the Center for 4 weeks. Each week we were assigned our work schedule. I truly loved living and working along side the other volunteers. Bowie Arizona is a beautiful place. My only issue with the stay was the lack of communication amongst leadership. All us volunteers felt like we were being told different things from fellow staff. It was hard to know who we should be listening to when it came to stuff like accommodations and scheduling. My suggestion for anyone looking into the Center is to clear up all questions about accommodations with the director of the program.
