We are especially looking for volunteers for the month of July as we are closed then and the volunteers will be able to stay in the guest villas instead of the volunteer quarters. We usually do one project at a time. Right now we are making the new volunteer quarters nicer (installing a kitchen). We are also completing a fourth villa for guests. All sorts of skilled volunteers are needed, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, gardening, etc.

Bill & Renee are incredibly gracious hosts who try to make the best experience for the volunteer. They provide very comfortable living quarters as well as food and have the best volunteer bathroom I have ever seen. All of us have different chores depending on what is needed such as being a barista, gardening, painting, housekeeping, etc. I made coffees in the morning and painted or did yard work in the afternoon. For days off they are very accommodating and will drop you off at the beach for the day and are flexible you want to plan a short trip to see the other islands. I highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience! I was painting walls, landscaping, and cleaning for a new suite. Based on weather, we had to be flexible. On rainy days, I also helped with hospitality. I primarily worked with Renee who is super fair and fun! She was generous and an amazing cook. Dinners were always interesting with crazy stories. Ask a lot of questions beforehand so that your expectations match up. My room was nice, but not private bc there was always workers coming in and out. Be prepared for your space to be a construction zone. The new volunteer area is also a work in progress.

The volunteer quarters should be finished soon and then we will post pictures. The floor is finally tiled and I have to do some wiring.
