En general mi experiencia estuvo bien. La casa se ubica a solo 10min del path que conecta con Manhattan. Las tareas son limpieza sencilla de las áreas comunes de dos casas (cocina, baños y pasillos) y a veces también toca realizar tareas de mantenimiento de la casa o mover y organizar cosas del garaje, lo que es más pesado. El trabajo lo puedes realizar en 2 horas, pero ten en cuenta que hay ocasiones en que Grace te pide ayuda extra y te tomará más tiempo. En el tiempo que estuve me enfermé y me lastimé un pie, Grace se preocupó por ayudarme, muchas gracias!

Fue una muy buena experiencia, grace y Billy son buenas personas, el trabajo es muy sencillo y solo 2 o 3 horas Máximo a la mañana, la ubicación de la casa es excelente ya que en 10 min estas en Manhattan, conoci backpackers muy cálidos que se convirtieron en mis amigos como Dany y domi . Gracias !

La casa está muy bien comunicada, es segura y el barrio está muy bien. Las tareas son sencillas, y no ocupan mucho tiempo. Grace te ayudará con todo, y a la vez tienes total libertad. También tuve mucha suerte con mi compañero de cuarto. Depende de lo que quieras, este es tu voluntariado. Por mi parte, muchas gracias a Grace y a Daniel, por hacérmelo tan fácil.

My experience was so-so because there were things that could've been communicated better. i was not told i would be staying in a different house than the one listed on the profile and the house didn't have working plumbing for the first week of my stay, so i had to walk across the street to the hosts house for cooking, laundry and using the bathroom. i am a flexible person so i didn't mind that much but it was an inconvenience to say the least. also there were tenants that moved in later on that made a lot of noise at night and made it hard to sleep. otherwise it was a decent experience.

This is the very great experience ! Grace is very kind and welcoming. The work is really not complicated, everyone is capable of doing it. We work 5 mornings a week for about 4 hours and we have 2 days off. During this free time, we are free to do whatever we want.

Grace was an excellent host, she was kind and patient and made sure that everyone was really well looked after. The tasks were easy and allowed a lot of free time to go and explore, I'd also recommend this to anyone who is thinking of doing Worldpackers, it made for a great first experience on here. Grace's house was a special place to learn about hosting, Grace was like a mom because she always took care of us, sometimes she cooked traditional Chinese food and it was nice, if your job is good you gonna enjoy working there, I had two roomies from Argentina since the first day they helped me a lot, grace is a very kind person and if you have a question or problem she gonna help you, the house is near NY city and there are a lot of landmarks close to the house, I hope to meet here again

If you really want to explore New York that's the right place for you. I had a very interesting experience and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to spend this month with this host. I had a wonderful experience volunteering for the first time. The work was light, involving cleaning, painting, and organizing the garage to assist Grace. She is a very kind person, and it was a pleasure to get to know and spend time with her. Overall, I had a beautiful time there, and I highly recommend this volunteer opportunity.
