We are trying to raise some chickens, rabbits, goats, etc. Grow gardens and can and store food. Just a nice quiet little 16 acre place that we are fixing up to be a fun and relaxing homeplace.

Programa detallado

We are looking for someone who wants to check out our area of the country and is willing to help us around the farm in return for room and board. Nothing fancy here, just a family trying to get as self sustaining as we can but needing some extra help and offering what we can in return.

Actividades & Turnos

Nice lakes and rivers close by, a small town but larger towns are 30 minutes away for theaters and stuff. The bedroom has TV and Computer with good internet. Share a bathroom with shower and use of kitchen, living room and front porch. Handyman or gardening skills would be great but just someone who doesn't mind helping us with practical ways to get this place turned into a sustainable little farm. We are just starting out and not experts at much. Hoping to put in a large above ground swimming pool soon and hook up our hot tub. Want to put fish in our pond and fix up the chicken and rabbit coops. We like to play games, watch movies, karaoke on the front porch and enjoy each others company.
