Honestly I cannot recomment this place more!! Mei is a dreaaam of a girl, she's so funny and smart and easy to work with. The work is easy and chill, nothing you haven't done before if you've worked as a waitress. The hours left me with kore than enough time to do my online work & go to the BEACH. Romblon is STUNNING and Mei make's sure that you're safe and and able to explore, this experience also allowed me to make friends with the locals. The accom was clean and beautiful! I loved this place so much I've decided to stay for longer than my original 2 weeks and I'm definitely going to be back

My experience volunteering in Romblon was amazing. Mei is an incredible woman from who I learned many things about Filipino culture and much more. I am forever grateful for this experience and definitely recommend. Beautiful island, beautiful people! Thank you<3

It was my first experience and it was amazing!! I stayed 2 weeks and half and I learned a lot of things about local food, met some locals and foreigners that live in the island (very lovely people)....we cooked dishes from scratch, visited the market, I helped by hosting the guests at the hotel and learned about how is the management of the hotel, and really you need to think and provide a LOT of things when own a hotel. I was always a guest but this time I could be part of the staff and was perfect. Mei was very kind and helpful all the time. I will always be GRATEFUL for this experience =)

My experience at the hotel was incredible. Mei was extremely welcoming and communicative, she makes you feel like family. My tasks were very reasonable, just a few hours a day, and working in the restaurant helped me get to know so many locals. The accommodation was clean and cozy, food provided was delicious, and Mei even helped me to get the most out of exploring the island. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and taken care of. I cannot recommend this volunteer experience enough!

We had an incredible experience with Carlos and Mei. We learned to cook new dishes and tried incredible food! Our time together was truly enriching! We work serving Carlos and also some customers, and we help in the kitchen with Mei. We were lucky enough to be there and volunteer at Carlos' birthday, it was incredible. Carlos and Mei thank you for the time together.

My stay at the hotel was incredible with a lot of learning and AMAZING food made by Mei and Carlos. They are so kind and hospitable towards you during your stay, making sure you are comfortable and enjoying your time on the island. Romblon is beautiful with crystal clear water and stunning beaches. The work is light and enjoyable and consist of making sure glasses are full, interacting and taking orders from customers, helping out in the kitchen and cleaning. I really enjoyed my time spent at the restaurant, and feel very grateful for everything that I've learnt during my stay!

Carlos and Mei were instantly very welcoming! They helped us get settled in, in a beautiful room and showed us how to help out at the restaurant too! They immersed us in the local culture and were incredibly kind to take us to the beach for an amazing BBQ! We ate incredible food everyday, cooked by Carlos and Mei and on the odd occasion too had drinks, which was always a good laugh! Overall I had a brilliant time and would recommend this to anyone who's staying in the Philippines!

Carlos was in great communication with us before we arrived in Romblon. He then came to meet us at the port. He introduced himself and purchased toiletries for us. He then showed us to our bedroom which was just as advertised. Comfortable queen bed, TV with working Netflix, fridge, kettle and western bathroom facilities. The room was just beautiful and quickly felt like home. We then had welcome drinks. We met Mai, Carlos's girlfriend. We were given drinks and delicious home cooked food on the house. Since then 2 weeks past very quickly. Carlos and Mai are lovely generous people.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Carlos and Mei and the experience I had. Despite more rain than I expected, I was able to enjoy the beautiful island of Romblon while making a wonderful connection with my hosts. They are truly two of the most generous, kind, and caring people I have ever met. Additionally, my responsibilities were very reasonable and because of my Carlos and Mei's generosity and kindness it made me want to help out in any additional way I could. Lastly, the food and accommodation were incredible and I couldn't have asked for anything better in that regard.
