Located in the gorgeous Mid-Hudson Valley, this is a sweet spot and a sweet situation. We need someone to be dedicated to be on call when the bad weather hits. Removal of snow and ice from our long road up the hill to our house is a must to keep things open for guests and nomadic travelers. When weather is good, there's always cleanup outdoors, to get ready for our growing season. Meantime, general household duties and tons of free time.

We provide room and board. Laundry facilities are here. We entertain lots of guests, but it's slower during the winter months. Nonetheless, we need to keep the area accessible and free of snow and ice. That's where you come in. In winter we provide indoor space in our Hostel room. In good weather, we provide outdoor tents/cots/bedding.

Assist with winter clean up to get ready for growing season.
As Time Permits: Assist with converting our little cabin into an art studio.
We expect no loud parties, or loud noises to disturb guests. We often get night professionals sleeping during the day. We expect everyone to contribute to the cleanliness of the place. We have a chore chart for that purpose and everyone who lives here contributes. There are no curfews, but there's no smoking or drug use inside the main house. Extremely fragrant weed is not permitted. Excessive alcohol use also not permitted during working hours or around guests.
