We are looking for a handyman who can help with repairing machines, building and construction, installations and renovations, as well as electricity and plumbing. Pretty much an all-bases-covered role for all handyman issues on the farm. We seek someone with experience and trade knowledge. Volunteers will receive full food in the fully-equipped kitchen and will stay in a tent on the property, helping to maintain both the hostel and farm.

Here at Sun Farm we are a glamping site as well as a farm, so we have a lot of guest using our facilities. For this, we often have repairs and projects we need help with! We are a community environment and often share space in kitchen, or go on fun adventures together!
The handyman position often is responding to issues that arise on the farm. This role is very project-oriented, focused on repairs and building. Sometimes you will be asked to work on the land when there are no repairs or projects for you! The schedule is approximately monday-friday 8am-1pm but flexible as we may need assistance as emergencies arise. You can expect to work 25 hours per week.
We have a document with community guidelines we will share upon approval. Some guidelines include quiet hours 6am-10pm, cleaning up dishes in kitchen after use, respecting shared spaces, etc.
