good attitudes, always careful, always smiling and quick to learn.
I'm very happy about the month I spent there and all the friends I made! The work hours were flexible, fair and not difficult, the location is very central: a walking distance from the nightlife, restaurants and bus stops. The staff room has air conditioning and a mini-fridge, which is a great addition specially in the summer! Nick, Steve, thank you for the opportunity! A especial thanks to Aldo, the manager, who is always very patient and attentive. I already miss my staff! ❤️

Having Lais at the hostel for a month was great. She was very fast to get herself involved in the social environment and would always make herself a part of the experience. She learns fast and was always helpful if her assistance was ever needed. Lais is kind and friendly, always smiling and responsible. Any host would be lucky to host her!
I spent 1 month at Casa D'Alagoa and since the first week I felt like I was home. It's definetly a very sociable place "where you treat your friends like family". We had barbecue parties every Saturday, and sat together for dinner with guests everyday. The cleaning work is hard, but fair, and since the vibe (of the staff and the other volunteers) is so good, you end up having fun while working. The night shift is easy to learn and usually calm. This was a life-changing experience and I am totally grateful to everybody for the amazing time I lived there. I will miss you very much! <3
Vamo conversar! :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I'm a 26 year old brazilian and I have been travelling by myself since I had my first job. In 2018, I finally signed up for my first volunteering which led me to the best year of my life! Turns out that the first brave step can take you to unimaginable places! I have learned so much about myself and the world along the way, and I don't have all the answers, but I love to talk about travel experiences! Let's chat!
Graduated in Museology/ Museum Studies. (2017)
I really enjoy working closely with the public. Currently, I work as a Customer Support Specialist, but I have experience as a receptionist; a hostess; a bartender; a museum guide, but without a doubt my favorite experience was at NBC Olympics in Rio 2016! I worked with the fleet management and got in touch with many different cultures within two amazing months! And also got to see some of the games and ceremonies.
