It was my first volunteering experience, and I loved it! The host was always available. The working hours were respected, and if something unexpected came up, we could always reach an agreement. The team were all great people to work with. I also had the chance to practise my English, even though my vocabulary is still very limited. The tasks require a good sense of responsibility, but everything is made very easy. I highly recommend it!

This is a place where you can improve your speaker English with the helpers and learn about the cleanliness. Always we have a lot things to do but in the same time you can go to the beach to relax and interact with the native or tourists people.

I would not recommend this volunteering experience. It often felt much more like being an employee than a volunteer. Volunteers are given excessive responsibilities and extra tasks, often without training or previous knowledge, and are expected to figure things out themselves. If you cannot do something or point out a problem, you may be told to leave. I was also blamed for problems with the company phone, despite testing and recording the issue. The constant pressure, threats of being asked to leave and lack of respect for personal time made the experience very stressful.

Fue mi primera experiencia como voluntario, las fotos del alojamiento no corresponden con lo que encontré, el alojamiento tenía poco espacio para los voluntarios, una habitación para 4 personas, y las condiciones no eran las mejores, sin embargo, las tareas no eran demasiado exigentes y teníamos un dinero destinado para la alimentación.

Mi experiencia en Mqabba fue excelente, tuve la oportunidad de vivir las fiestas del pueblo y conocer sobre la cultura maltesa, ademas vivi esta experiencia con gente maravillosa y destaco mucho la comunicacion con Anfitrión, que aunque no tuve el agrado de conocerlo personalmente siempre se mostro abierto a recibir sugerencias y mantener el contacto a la distancia. Las tareas son sencillas y una vez que se agarra la marcha se hace todo bastante rapido. Volveria a elegirlo :)
