Hub Feenix
We are a large international and growing community, proud members of the Global Ecovillage Network, and have people from all over staying here.
Our art resident program attracts many international artists, and we also ahve a growing digital nomad fraction. Together with the 20 residents this makes for a vibrant international vibe, while being immersed in the beautiful finnish nature.
Volunteers live in there own wing, have their own little community inside the big mothership. Hub Feenix also hosts artisis and nomads and residents.
Continuous learning and creativity are core values, and we try to bring this into the work as much as possible. We have professionals in several areas guiding the work and offer a lot of opportunities outside of work

The eco village is a peaceful eco-community and art the eco village. The hosts, Raisa and Torsten, were warm, flexible and responsive right from our initial chat. They made sure expectations were clear, volunteering here involves varied work—such as kitchen prep, event setup, and basic maintenance—in exchange for comfortable private rooms and delicious vegetarian meals. It's an ideal experience for travelers looking to connect with nature, enjoy classic Finnish saunas by the lake, and build lasting friendships in an inspiring, welcoming international environment. Unforgettable and un regrettable experience.

My tame on the eco village was amazing! As my first voluuntering experience, it certainly set the bar high. The volunteers have a whole wing of the building, and we had so much fun! The volunteers are definitely the highlight of my time. The rooms are comfortable and nice. The food is really good and being vegetarian was easy. The hours were respected, and the job changed every week for me. I cleaned and got to know the eco village (which is huuge).I did kitchen prep work and worked in construction at the villa. Learned really nice skills and had the happiest time at the lake and biking! Super recommend!

I spent an amazing time in the eco village. The tasks was clear and diverse, i did cooking, renovating, painting wall, raking, cleaning. I learned about vegetarian recipes :) The nature around is really amazing, lot of things to explore outside and inside because it's really huge ! Thanks Torsten and Raisa :)

I had a wonderful time at the eco village! The hosts are so kind, welcoming and lovely. Working there is really fun, it's never boring or the same and the hours are fair and they are also very flexible if you want to make a trip or something like that. I met wonderful people and made many new and wonderful friendships!! Absolutely recommended to go there!
