Our land is located in a beautiful place in the south of Italy. We are surrounded by nature and we are really connect to it. If you are looking for a really peaceful spot, but are also willing to learn more about how to work with the nature, this is your place!
We have a lot of tasks to do, but we always do it with a lot of love and respect for the nature and what is provided to us. We expect the volunteers to really help us with the various tasks we have, but we also want to connect with them and that they can enjoy and appreciate our beautiful place!

I had an amazing experience in the farm, the place and surrounding areas are beautiful and full of surprises, be prepared to encounter mountains, beach, rivers, fruit trees and much more! Iris is an excellent host, she is social, kind, joyful and attentive of your needs. Also, through her I knew some of the local culture and way of life in Calabria. The work was simple, diverse and well explained. The working time and free days were always respected. The place for the volunteers is comfortable and has all you need. I hope to come back again sometime. Ciao Iris, grazie mille!

My time volunteering with Iris at the farm in Isca was truly transformative. The 7 AM to 12 PM hours were ideal for making the most of the cooler hours of the day. Iris is an exceptional and thoughtful host. Iris is extremely reliable and responsive, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home and allow me to experience the local culture. I made new friends and always felt included. The accommodation is rustic and immersed in nature, but there are nets on the windows to prevent mosquitos. The work was varied and fun, and I already miss it so much.

Abbiamo trascorso due settimane meravigliose con Iris. Fin dal primo giorno ci ha fatto sentire come a casa grazie alla sua generosità, gentilezza e ospitalità. Vivere immersi nella natura è stata un'esperienza bellissima. Abbiamo imparato molto, migliorato il nostro italiano e praticato anche l'inglese ogni giorno. Consigliamo questa esperienza a chiunque cerchi un autentico scambio culturale in un ambiente sereno e accogliente. Grazie di cuore, Iris! Speriamo di rivederti presto.

Staying at Isca in the river house was one of the best choices I could have made. It definitely isn't for everyone, you have no electricity unless you go uphill, so no fridge and no light, but it builds up so much character and experience to live that way, connected with nature and by the river. It really was amazing, getting to meet locals and Iris' friends, they're the sweetest people, just like her. She's honestly a great person and host: so kind, unique and talented, one of those people you never forget. Finally, the work was physical and demanding, but friends and breaks made it easier :)

My experience was absolutely amazing. Calabria is such an energetic place, made even more special by the host, Iris. She is lovely, open-hearted, and has a beautiful smile. The tasks were awesome and really immersive, helping me connect with the area. Thanks for everything, and for helping me find a place to stay close to my home region and background.
