Come to Help! Stay for the fun! :) Our ecovillage needs your help and is willing to teach! With 9 acres in food production, including greenhouses, propagated gardens, food forests, animals areas and grazing space. Our garden area is set up in zones, with some plants needing much care and attention, many other varieties in the greenhouses, kitchen gardens, and with the more self-sufficient and less-often harvested plants are further away.

My experience at the eco village was delightful, I felt very welcome and at home, the hosts and guests made me feel like I've been part of the community forever. I truly admire and appreciate how everyone works together in community and the site is beautiful. I loved working in the garden and with the animals and it made me connect with nature in a unique way. I also love how the larger community comes together and how everyone connects with each other. I will forever cherish my time and experience there.

Sebastian - you truly are a special and caring person! You have left such warmth in everyone's heart and every day, a few times a day, folks are saying how much they miss you! You have been so flexible and learned so much about the farm, design, natural building, and even how to pull off a wedding!! We are grateful for your kindness and connection with our local Indigenous partners and for how much you learned about Canada from that perspective....Sebas you have OUR highest recommendation!!!

My experience at OUR the eco village was life changing and I recommend it to anyone willing to immerse themselves in a community and build real connections with those living with you. The opportunities we had to work with animals plants and hands on was exactly what I was looking for as my day to day life whilst still having time to explore there beautiful nature around shawnigan lake and surrounding provincial parks. The opportunity to learn about indigenous culture and the culture built at the eco village through the people that have been there long term was a perfect introduction to Canada.

Jake.....you are an outstanding young man!! You truly brought a sense of integrity, caring, and an athentic sense of wonder into OUR Ecovillage. Your attention to the needs of the moment but also seeing a bigger picture was really appreciated. You certainly demonstrated an honest and 'can-do' learning style with everything you put your hand to. Any other host would be lucky to have you and we also hope to see you back around this side of the pond one day!

It was an amazing experience for me. I had a great time volunteering here. I tried the gardening,cob,feeding…Connected with nature and community.Thank you soo much brandy,you are powerful and wonderful. It's one of the most unforgettable life for my life. My time in OUR the eco village was simply breathtaking. I learned so much about myself, community life, gardening, and nature. Creativity and collaboration had plenty of room to flourish here. Sooo grateful for this young woman and her kind and grounded ways of connecting with everyone on OUR team! Lisa has brought a fun, focused, and open- hearted -- and so skilled at many kind of tasks. From garden work, to kitchen crafting, from learning natural paints....to working to help clean and organize. So much has been kept organized by Lisa - and OUR Ecovillage team is forever grateful!!

Chloe - you have been an incredible example of someone who defies your age and can not be put into a label!! Your are a timeless soul, so grounded/connected in the present moment, courageous at trying new things, caring and fun....and such a gem shining in OUR team. Everyone voted - Chloe must stay longer!!
