ATTENTION DOG LOVERS! Live-in volunteer opportunity in Playa Samara. We need help at our small dog refuge with feeding and caring for the dogs, cleaning, preparing food and walking the dogs on the beach. Volunteers must love dogs and and spending time with them, and be physically active.

Expérience absolument inoubliable! 3 semaines de rêve à the shelter! Les chiens sont adorables! Sally est à l'écoute et bienveillante, elle fait un travail remarquable. Le cadre est paradisiaque, à 2 minutes de le plage. Je recommande à 100000% 💛

What an amazing experience i had working and staying at the refuge. Sally has changed the lives of these dogs and given them so much love and care. I fell in love with every single dog and found it so hard to leave! The refuge is great and in a good location. Right next to the beach, has a few shops nearby and there is a bus stop right outside the refuge. I worked with some great volunteers and the local volunteers that come to walk the dogs are all so lovely. I am already planning my next trip back and look forward to working with Sally again. She is a 5 star host.

So far my best volunteering experience ever ❤️ if you love dogs more than anything, your heart will be so full everyday by seeing how happy and well taken care of the dogs are, it doesn't feel like you're working and you won't want to leave! I wish I could've stayed longer. I didn't have the chance to meet Sally but she is such an inspiration for the incredible work she's doing. Every other volunteer I met was an incredible person and I'm so grateful I got to meet them, they made the experience even better!

The work with the animals was very rewarding. In the mornings, we would take the dogs for walks on the beach, which gave me the opportunity to meet many local people. Sally is a superwoman. I honestly don't know how she manages to take care of everything. Seeing her dedication to the shelter was something I deeply admired. Pluto, Hazel, Misty, Snoopy, Kami, June, Perla, Petra, Paco, Trixie, Leo, Finn, Lilly you will always have a special place in my heart. Veggies, keep in mind: you will have to cook and prepare meat for the dogs, so make sure you are comfortable with this before signing up

I am very grateful for the opportunity to gain my first volunteering experience at Patas. It was a real pleasure to be part of the team and to have the chance to make a real difference whilst travelling! It was a bit of a challenge at first to take responsibility for so many dogs, as I'd never had any experience with dogs before, but the other volunteers were very kind and considerate and always helped me. I truly admire the good intentions and the love they all have for the poor street dogs and I hope they continue to receive plenty of support so they can keep making the world better :))
