Association Opus Gothique
It is a unique project helping to build a medieval edifice, located in a magical part of France. With many skills to be learnt and memories to be made. We are an international mix of American, English and French. We are a friendly bunch who like to socialize as much as we like to work on our special project. I had an amazing experience. Every day was a new adventure and an opportunity to learn something new. I also had the chance to meet incredible people whose life stories were truly inspiring. The place itself is absolutely amazing, and at night, the sky comes alive with an incredible blanket of stars. A huge thank you to Sam, Jim, Suzie, and Donald for their incredible hospitality, guidance, support, and for making this experience so special. I'm truly grateful for everything I learned and for all the wonderful memories I'll take with me.

Had the absolute best time at the organization Gotique! Sam, Jim and Suzie were really amazing hosts and people in general, the accommodation was comfy and the food was and kitchen were great. Such an amazing project to contribute to and learn from, cannot reccomend it more highly!

This was my first work exchange, and it was an amazing time ! It is not for those who want to party-- you will be working and getting dirty. However, there are plenty of opportunities to have fun in the local area (despite being remote) and to connect with peers. Instead, this place shines for it's passion, leadership and growth that it shares. This project is amazing and pictures will not do the building (or it's story!) justice. It has a lot of energy and the people organizing it are so passionate about this project. But even more, they are passionate about community, and lead with love.

I had a great experience at the organization! I learned many things, met lots of interesting people, and had a great time. The work is interesting and engaging and it is very enjoyable to watch everything get built up and see the progress in real time. Everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly, they make you feel comfortable right from the beginning. All in all I would highly recommend the organization to anyone.

Ha sido una experiencia súper enriquecedora, agradable y fantástica de principio a fin. El equipo es excelente y cuenta con una organización impecable que hace que todo fluya a la perfección. Desde el primer momento te acogen con tanto cariño que enseguida te sientes parte de la familia, y la energía que se respira en el día a día es simplemente espectacular. ¡Una vivencia inolvidable y 100% recomendable!
