We have a profile on Workaway for 3 or 4 years, and have about 80 very positive reviews. You will live in off grid tiny houses around the land. each person does the jobs they prefer to do most. Chosen out of the priority list we discuss together in our Monday morning meeting at 8.30.
And YES you can chose your working hours (after a week, after you know how everything works)
As the project is huge, we do love you to stay at least 2 weeks, but if you want to stay for 3 months or more, be our guest in our cohousing where human energies are essential and important.
So if you have some real life positive input and impact, and you can take responsabilities... we love you even more in our dream location!

I stayed for a month. the community is really cool and feels like a museum, and the whole property is beautiful. Although volunteers cannot enter the castle shown in the photos, the community has a great common area with a pool table, chess, and other games. The tasks are not very clearly defined, and volunteers are often told to walk around the property and find something to do. This means you need to be proactive and propose projects. The amount of food provided was insufficient for 12 volunteers during the first week, but the same amount was enough for 7–3 volunteers in the following weeks.

Fue buena experiencia y en el campo, si buscas tranquilidad y desconexión es un buen lugar, los horarios fueron flexibles y conectamos con los voluntarios, sacando a los Co-houser que querían mandar a los voluntarios, de resto todo bien

Un lugar con mucha naturaleza, es muy bonito si buscas un poco de tranquilidad. Cumple con todas las comidas básicas, los horarios y los días son flexibles y las tareas no son difíciles. Capaz deberían mejorar que las personas que viven ahí no se coman la comida del los voluntarios y que no quieran ser superiores queriendo ellos mandar a nosotros en que hacer, ya que no es su responsabilidad. De resto todo bien, conecte con muchos de los voluntarios y me regalaron muy lindos momentos 🫶🏻

The experience was good, the place has a lot of green areas, there's a river where we could even do some kaiaking, the room I stayed was good and I stayed alone there,there is a little place where you can do some workouts, the work hours are flexible and respected, the volunteers team get along well, I think they can improve the Communication and the leadership in oder to improve the overall volunteer experience. Be aware about booking the bus from the train station to the place, it's better booking at least one day in advance, otherwise you will need to hitchike ( which is not hard)

It was a very enriching and interesting experience. I learned many things from both my fellow volunteers and Hendrik. The group was very international, which gave me the opportunity to meet people from different cultures and practise several languages. Everyone was kind, helpful, and always willing to support each other. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I will remember fondly
