Hostelle Amsterdam

This is a unique opportunity to work in a female only hostel, with guest coming from all around the world. Free accomodation for 24hr work per week, bike for rent to go sightseeing in Amsterdam.

We have about 8 staff members who are hardworking and kind. What we love is that staff members can learn new work ethics from each other. What the volunteers can expect is that they are treated as one, as a team. With questions or problems, staff members can always contact the management team.

I just had the best summer at the hostel! Booking a women-only hostel was definitely the best decisions. I really appreciated the way the work was organized: the workload was fair, the managers were flexible, and we had a lot of freedom when it came to organizing events and creating social media content. But most importantly, it was an incredible human experience in such a welcoming and fun environment. Meeting guests from all over the world every day, sharing the experience with other volunteers, and being supported by such a kind reception team made the whole experience really special 🌟

Overall, I had a great volunteering experience. The best part was definitely the people I met I made amazing friends with the other volunteers, and Ashley and Brandy at reception were always so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The workload felt fair overall, although we didn't get the two days off listed on the platform, and you may occasionally be contacted on your day off, As a solo female traveler, I personally didn't feel very safe in the area, there were a few security incidents because of the location of the hostel that made me feel unsafe especially working at night

The hostel is beautiful, the volunteers' room is super comfortable, and the work itself is really nice — whether it's at reception, creating events, or social media content ✨ I met so many amazing people during my stay, and special thanks to Jascy, Ricardo, Brandy, and the other volunteers I shared the experience with 💕 There were a couple of issues with the room and some situations that could've been handled better with clearer communication, but overall I'm really grateful for the experience and all the lovely people I got to meet xx 💐

The hostel was a great environment and I truly enjoyed my time there! The team was so welcoming and warm, always willing to help out the volunteers with any questions. The work was fun, especially the evening events with the guests, and weekly working hours always respected.
