We are a small family business.
Our goal is to grow our business with the help of volunteers offering the maximum of our service. 3 meals, private rooms, excellent internet connection, the possibility to get in touch with the real Nepalese local life and become part of our family and feel at home
I am an expert guide of the Nepalese mountains of 20 years. I love to be in contact with people, to know new cultures and to share moments.
I love to tell about my land and make known the local reality to my guests.

I had an amazing time staying the guest house. I was able to experience both the culture and people of Nepal, as well as the natural beauty of the Himalayas. Uttam along with Sahadev, were the perfect hosts, who made me feel very welcome, for the entirety of my stay. Having spent just over three weeks, I was able to visit numerous places, eat some amazing food, and make friends with the locals. Given it was monsoon season, the work load was minimal and spent most days exploring the city and hills. 10/10 would highly recommend the guest house!

The guest house is a very nice place with beautiful surroundings and a lovely nearby village. During my stay I got to share great meals with Uttam and Sahadev, and enjoyed a comfortable room. Many of the tasks listed on the profile were not available during my time, so rather than having set tasks to complete, I was often asking how I could help, and just going from there. There was lots of free time that I used to wander all around the hills and villages. The highlight was definitely playing music in the cafe and preparing meals together.

The experience at the guest house was fantastic, i was able to visit incredible places around Dulikhel, and be in contact with the real nepali life between incredible villages and cities. i was also able to help in a local school, an experience that i will carry with me forever. the environment is not only the place but also the people, uttam and his grandchildren are unique people, with a huge heart and they will make you spend fantastic days.

Being with Uttam and his family was a dream. I felt at home from day one and as if I had found a family. Uttam is a great cook and a rare person, it was a pleasure to work for him that always allowed me to find the right balance between work and leisure. His nephew a really smart and nice guy, hard to find people like him. It was all perfect and an honor to spend a few days in the village with the Uttam's family who welcomed me with sweetness, I will never forget. I look forward to coming back and wish you both the best. Thank you for everything

Uttam and his nephew were very hospitable. They provided some eggs and toast or daal baat every morning. With Daal baat for dinner. There was a lot of flexibility with being able to explore the town. However, we felt that there wasn't much to do with only a little gardening and kitchen help. We also went to their village which had a learning centre but was not in use. Coming back from a trek there was a bit of miscommunication with when the hostel was going to be unlocked so we ended up having to get another hostel to stay two nights.

The lazy people never learn something from their own failures.
They know how to blame others.
We did our best to provide nice environment to them and many more tasks around there as in village our learning center is running smoothly.
Only these people are not able to be active to teach the children.
