Lake Macquarie Manor
Il nostro posto è ideale se ti piace avere del tempo per te e vuoi esplorare la zona. Siamo abbastanza rilassati e flessibili con i tempi, quindi è l'ideale se hai un veicolo per goderti i paesaggi locali, passeggiate, il lago, ecc.
Il lavoro è generalmente vario, con pulizie delle camere e manutenzione generale. Sarebbe molto adatto a chi lavora online, poiché il wifi è ottimo, e anche l'allestimento del tuo spazio è buono.
Gestiamo due attività e gli aspetti generali della vita quotidiana, quindi siamo molto impegnati. Anche se cerchiamo di interagire il più possibile, non avremo sempre tempo per aiutare con le cose, quindi prendere l'iniziativa è sempre un vantaggio.
Avrete il vostro spazio (potenzialmente con altri volontari). Occasionalmente faremo pasti ed eventi insieme, e se andiamo da qualche parte che vi interessa e c'è posto, saremo felici di portarvi con noi, soprattutto se vi piace socializzare.
Probabilmente questa non è la posizione migliore per chi cerca di essere sociale tutto il tempo.

Molto rilassato. Li ho aiutati fornendo contenuti per i social media per supportare la loro attività di alloggi e attività accessibili. La parte migliore è stata poter interagire con uno dei loro clienti durante un viaggio in spiaggia, un percorso di mountain bike, guardando una partita di hockey e cucinando la nostra pizza. Mi ha aperto gli occhi su tutto ciò che una persona sulla sedia a rotelle può fare con un po\'d\'aiuto. Ho soggiornato in un monolocale privato con bagno completo e cucina. Ottima esperienza.

Great experience! We volunteered for Darren & Alisha for over 2 months as just loved the time here. Got to da range of different work that kept it fresh and new. They where really generous to both myself and my partner and it was really nice to spend time volunteering here. Would definitely recommend. :)))

ABSOLUTELY fabulous time volunteering here! Darren & Alisha are extremely kind and generous people and a delight to volunteer for. Originally me and my partner where meant to stay 3 weeks but ended up staying 2 and a half months. The space to live was so private, lovely and cosy. The work is really adaptable to your skills. We had some fabulous evenings doing BBQ's, pizza and games with both Darren & Alisha as well as there disability clients and guests. All round it was a splendid time! and the local area around the guest house is full of beautiful spots to visit. I would highly recommend.

Alisha and Darren were always very friendly and attentive, which made us feel at home working with them. Our accommodation was a private and comfortable studio, which ensured that we had a great time relaxing and resting after our working hours. It was great to learn how a bed and breakfast runs from behind the scenes. We felt appreciated for our efforts and it was good to be able to contribute for the smooth running of their business. Thank you for the good experience, Alisha and Darren!

We stayed with Alisha & Darren for almost 3 weeks and we had a good place for us, with privacy and everything needed during this period. As we had no car, they took us to the market to buy food and also provided itens for cleaning. The property is beautiful and quiet, perfect to relax and do other activities during non-working hours. Daily tasks were basicaly cleaning & seting the rooms between guests, but also some random tasks that poped-up depending on the needs of the moment. I recommend staying with them if you want to relax a bit and stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
