Amazing and unique experience!! The house is located ablittle outside the city and has a calm vibe away from tourists (+ northern lights very clear without light pollution). The work is very well structured and you get used to the workload quickly. It is a lot but only fair for what you get in return ;'). The room youre staying at as well as the food selection is amazing and definetly above average for volunteering opportunities.

Volunteering at the guest house was overall a good experience. The workload was quite a lot, but still manageable. The environment was comfortable and well-organized. However, communication with the owner was not always easy

Es una experiencia increíble, desde el hotel se pueden ver perfectamente las auroras y el cielo. El trabajo puede tomar horas de improvisto, pero no es tan complejo. Los días que te toca solo el trabajo en el hotel, es muy duro. No recibí el tour ni caminatas por la ciudad. // It's an incredible experience. From the hotel, you can see the auroras and the sky perfectly. The work can take hours unexpectedly, but it's not that complicated. The days when you only have to work at the hotel are very hard. I didn't get the tour or walks around the city. But you can go outside the city by bus.

My time in the guest house was amazing! The tasks were easy and the other intern (Roza) was a great teammate. Aneta and Virna were awesome supervisors and we talked every day with them about the work and also about our day in general. They gave you freedom to make yourself feel at home as long as you were responsible. I had to leave a bit earlier for a job opportunity, but Zeno and the team were super understanding and supportive. In winter time you had auroras just in the backyard every week! 10/10, would recommend and would love to come back

I loved working at the guest house. The location is great with the sea and mountains visible from the house. Central Reykjavik is just a short bus journey away. The work days can be long and the supervisors are not on site, so communication can be difficult at time. But I'd definitely recommend this experience for anyone looking to connect with people around the world and experience Iceland like a local.
