Wild Ginger Hotel
Come una piccola azienda a conduzione familiare, offriamo ai volontari un ambiente caldo, hawaiano e rilassato. Stiamo attualmente cercando persone che vogliano sperimentare lo spirito aloha delle isole mentre fanno volontariato nel nostro ostello; ci piacerebbe darvi il benvenuto nella nostra ‘ohana (famiglia).
In cambio di un impegno di quattro (4) settimane di housekeeping, i nostri volontari ricevono un letto a castello superiore in un dormitorio maschile o femminile. Insieme agli ospiti, anche i volontari sono invitati a godere di una colazione continentale hawaiana gratuita ogni mattina. Pranzi a base di carne sono forniti ai nostri volontari nei giorni in cui lavorano (non è garantita una dieta vegetariana/esclusiva). Il Wi‑Fi gratuito è disponibile nella hall per gli ospiti e il personale utilizzarlo in qualsiasi momento.

Unfortunately i have had a bad experience this time around. The hosts sold the hostel and the new owners kicked everyone out in 7 days. I had nowhere to go and worldpackers only covered 49$ which doesn't even pay for a night at a hostel. I was very disappointed with the way things were handled and for the lack of prior notice.

Had a wonderful time at the hostel Inn! Great people, nice job tasks and always a super lunch after work. Fantastic people, super friendly and easy to talk to. I cut my foot during my stay at the hostel Inn, and everybody was really helpful driving me to the hospital and helping. Thank you for a good time!

If you're looking for a relaxed environment and to explore Hilo, the hostel is your place! The housekeeping work is straightforward and side tasks are shared between all work-traders. You're allowed to listen to music while you work which makes the work day fly by. At the end of your shift you get a delicious meal, Al is a GREAT cook. Meals ranged from soups, burgers, curries, shrimp pasta, and the list goes on! Never the same meal twice. They even accommodated my dietary restrictions. I had a blast getting to know the staff and going out to events together. I will cherish these memories!

Amazing people and a beautiful Hostel that overlooks the Ocean. The work is straight forward and I would highly recommend the hostel Inn to all work traders. Perfect opportunity to get out and explore this beautiful island.
