This program strengthens community-led education and coastal development in Kertasari Village by working directly with locals and without outside sponsors. Participants help improve children’s English skills, stay in local homestays, enjoy home-cooked meals, and join community activities. Teaching at the outdoor Nature School offers authentic cultural immersion while creating real, lasting impact for Kertasari families.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and it was awesome! Thanks to Jack and Daveed for teaching me how to surf and helping me discover Lombok. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

My experience at Bridge Future Lombok has been truly incredible, and I feel really lucky to have been part of it. From the very first moment you feel like part of the family. You can experience their daily life, discover the real local culture, and genuinely feel at home. Mr Herman and Shalmi are deeply committed to the community, and Future Bridge Lombok is a beautiful project to be part of. The organisation is great, and they make sure volunteers have everything they need to feel comfortable. I am very grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend it!

This experience in worldpackers is so worth it. When I arrived they received me with a white board that said “Welcome Home Azul” and it really felt like it. Everybody treat me as part of their family. The people from the project strive to give you the best time and they constantly organize plans so you can also explore the are and truly live the local life. There's a good network of volunteers since there's an association of different project and there are constantly events to meet up. Special thanks to Pak Herman, Salmi, Shakira, Opan, Holis for making me feel like they're ade 🫶🏼

I had a wonderful experience with the project. This is a great program for anyone who wants to feel immersed in local culture. The Homestay was clean and Maya was extremely kind and provided me with delicious food every day. At the dive center Mohni was very welcoming and helpful every step of the way and helped make my experience truly great. I will really miss everyone from this experience!
