As a grassroots non-profit organization, Tukula Children's Foundation does not receive government funding. To ensure we can provide you with a high-quality experience while keeping our resources focused on the children, we ask for a daily contribution of $15 USD per day to cover the cost of fresh, local ingredients for your breakfast, lunch, and dinner (including our famous Rolex and traditional Luwombo) and Safe Accommodation.

Tukula" means growth, and at Tukula Children’s Foundation, we believe growth starts from the soil up! We are looking for green-thumbed volunteers to help us develop our community garden. This project provides fresh, nutritious food for our children and acts as a living classroom where they learn about nature and sustainability.

My time with the organization was unforgettable. The hosts Jude and Alan are the heart of this place, kind, supportive, and always making you feel at home. The community is incredibly welcoming and dedicated to helping each other. The kids are amazing: sweet, smart, curious and so grateful. Expect endless smiles and cuddles. Lyantonde is a small and beautiful town surrounded by nature whete you feel the Ugandan hospitality everywhere you go, through the warmth of the people and the genuine connections you build. I'd 100% recommend this for a real, heartwarming experience.
