Charlottetown is beautiful! And tbe culture is so friendly and cozy. It's a very small town comparatively. The hostel was situated downtown and was a 5-10 minute walk from most of the sights around Charlottetown. It's a small, cozy place where everyone really gets to know each other and enjoy each other's company. Shannon was very organized and kind and the room was clean and comfortable.

Volunteering at the hostel was a fantastic experience. The hostel itself is very cosy and Shannon was so welcoming and has gone to a lot of effort to make the hostel feel like a home away from home for both volunteers and guests. Tasks were made very clear and Shannon was very flexible with the schedule making sure I had time to explore the island and Charlottetown itself. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would recommend to anyone.

Charlottetown is a cute touristy town and this volunteer experience allowed a lot of opportunities to explore it! Shannon was organized and made helping out at the hostel a very positive experience for everyone. I'm so happy I had the chance to be a part of this place, even for just a short time:)

I had a really nice time working in the Hostel in Charlottetown! The hours are fair and flexible and Shannon is always making sure everyone is safe and comfortable. It's a good place to be :>

Shannon and her hostel are great. I stayed for 2 months, the schedule is good and organized. Shannon is a great person, always very concerned about safety and well being, always buying staff treats, and her hard work makes the hostel comfortable, clean, and welcoming for guests. The cleaning is the main task for this position, where almost every shift you have to help with cleaning. Personally, I'm not a big fan of cleaning, but if you like it, great! Rooms for guests are very comfortable, for staff not that big. Location is great, i will miss Shannon, the staff members and the banana bread!!
