We have a plot of land near Chengdu and a bold vision: to transform it into a regenerative permaculture farm and champion sustainable rural lifestyles. This means ecologically restorative practices that are good for the soil and biodiversity, healthier food produced, eco-buildings made from natural materials, gardens for nature therapy and a place where travelers and locals come together for cultural exchange and to learn from each other.

My time at the farm was amazing! I miss it a lot now that i'm gone😅. Lin is a great host and a great guy. He's really flexible about the work and passionate about his project. The work was a mix of groundskeeping and farming and the overall amount of work was more than fair. The place is very relaxed and peaceful as well as beautiful. You are quite secluded though so be prepared for that. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities this is the place!

I truly mean it when I say that Lin and his family are amazing hosts for volunteers all across the globe. I felt very welcome on his farm, and loved every second of it. The cultural exchange, and all the things I learned during the stay, are things that I will always carry with me in my heart. The (very big) farm carries countless facilities for enjoying your free time there as well. Such as instruments, fitness center, café, movie projectors, and multiple hang out spaces. It's very nice and quiet, and a great space to tune into nature. If you're on the fence on going, 100% do it!

I originally was supposed to stay at the farm 9 days but extended my stay to 2 weeks. The experience was amazing. Lin and his family was very welcoming. The schedule is pretty flexible for content creation and that was a big plus for me since I was working remotely at nights. I could freely sleep in the mornings and film social media content for the farm in the afternoons. The farm is pretty cozy and remote but only 15-20 minutes ride away from the nearest town. The work was very easy and interesting. I wish Lin big success in the future project!

I stayed at the farm for 2 weeks and I honestly could not recommend it enough. It was such an incredible opportunity to help out around the farm, learn about farming practices, meet locals, and learn about community culture. It was a really unique immersive experience. I learnt so much staying at the farm, and they were so kind and so welcoming. Really definitely recommend. Seriously. Just apply. Do it.

I had the best time volunteering at the farm! Lin was a very kind host, and he and his family made me feel so welcome. Mama Lin prepared the best home-cooked meals each time; it really was like being home away from home. It was so amazing learning about the rural side of China through Lin. I love how he passionately talks about the culture and promotes slow living through the farm life. I learned a thing or two about gardening and just being in touch with nature. I recommend this place if you want a break from city life to unwind and if you also want to be more connected with the locals.
