We are looking for volunteers to speak English with our students. We are in Hong Ngu Town, Dong Thap Province. We have the sweetest children that are so interested to learning English from foreigners. Please come to visit our center. We opened this English Center to help children who don't have a lot of money. We rarely have many chances to speak english with foreigners. We have no foreigners in this town.

All the students are absolutely lovely. They all want to learn English, and are excited to meet travellers, so that makes it a joy to teach them. The job itself is not complicated, but you're left to your own devices to actually talk and teach. You need to know what you're doing or be able to take initiative. The room is pretty simple with only a mattress, but that's enough, and you have your own privacy. I absolutely recommend this as the children need it, but be clear about days off if you want them since the school is open every day during the summer. Hours were 8-11.15/1.30-4/5.3-7.30.

This was an amazing experience! Mr. Ty showed me around to all the best food spots in the area. The kids' ages range from 6-18. It was so nice talking to them and the work wasn't hard at all. Accommodation is modest but the experience was so worth it. I highly recommend!

My stay in the center was short but incredible! The center is open every day almost all day long and the kids show up eager to learn. you get a chance to know them and really connect, to be creative and initiative and to experience daily life in real-untouristy Vietnam. You should know accommodations are very basic and the place is pretty unclean (but that's also up to you), and there isn't much guidance (challenging but you can truly express yourself and bring your own ideas!)

Ty was the most amazing host I could've wished for in my first volunteering experience. Even though it was only for 10 days, he did everything to make me feel at home. Every day I was treated to delicious Vietnamese food, played tennis/badminton and I even learned a few phrases in Vietnamese. The students are so wonderful and incredibly eager to learn. Everyone is special in their own way and it was so much fun teaching to them. The place itself is full of friendly people, which is why I highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much for everything Ty and I hope we'll see us again soon!

While I was volunteering here, I felt a lot of warmth from people. I made many good memories with the other volunteers and experienced the local culture. Ty always took me to nice places to eat, and most of all, he was kind and fun he felt like an uncle to me. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the cozy countryside and just chill.
