We are looking for volunteers to help out at our hostel. Help needed involves a little bit of everything. so you will not be bored ;) In exchange for breakfast and accomodation, we need you to help us out 24 hours In a week. The job ranging from cleaning, making beds, breakfast and reception too. We are a small hostel with 24 beds in an amazing place just 300 meters from the Giants Causeway. Beautiful view

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature, and it's a great place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The tasks were not too difficult, and there was also plenty of free time to explore, do activities, or simply rest. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and a relaxed environment. I had a really nice experience and would happily come back in the future!

If you are independent and like to spend time away from big cities and being surrounded by nature this is the right place. I only saw briefly the host twice while staying there, but they were flexible and able to communicate if I had a question. The accommodation is basic, a bed in a dormitory, and the tasks are light,~ 2 hours, 2 days in 1 day off. No breakfast but a 10£ order for the week. The bus stop is close and runs every 30 min till 6pm. The location is near the cliff full of trails with great views. I had a great time and I am very grateful for this opportunity.

Très bon séjour dans l'auberge en tant que volontaire. Tout le monde était très sympa et la localisation de l'auberge offre un cadre de vie assez exceptionnel. Le travail au sein de l'auberge est simple et vous aurez donc tout votre temps pour faire de belles balades. Je recommande !

The hostel McCools is a small hostel, fairly remote on the North Coast of Ireland. At 25 or so beds the work is light, business was often slow and your main duty is keeping the vibe up. It is also a largely unsupervised role, and you don't actually live with your hosts, making it a great role for people that are used to working and living independently. You are so close to the hostel and and the coastal path. The weather is highly changeable but when you are here for a few weeks you have the pick of the best weather for hiking and day trips and shifts are usually 2 days on, 2 days off.

Overall its a pretty good place. Right near the hostel, some really nice hikes/views, and only 1 bus into town. The staff sleep in the garage outside but its not too bad of a place. Jobs are really easy and takes less than 1-2 hours each day and all your doing is housekeeping. There was a long term volunteer there (3+ months) and they did reception, smaller tasks, and kinda acted like the boss of the place as the owners were barely there.
