Close to beaches, kauri forest, walks, waterfall, Paihia and Cape Reinga, we offer a minimum 2 week stay of 4 hrs daily help 5 days a week. All meals supplied but never vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian or gluten free. Private room. Free Wifi, weights-gym, concept 2 rower, petanque piste, laundry, TV, library, etc. Help in house, orchard, flower & vege gardens: building, pruning, preserving, jam making etc. Experience not required. We will teach.

I had an amazing experience staying with the home Colleen and feel very lucky to have spent the time with them that I did. I learned a lot of new skills during my stay, especially through the outdoor tasks and gardening projects. The work was enjoyable, varied, and the hours were always fair and reasonable. The accommodation was wonderful, and their property is absolutely beautiful. One of the highlights was that the home Colleen often took me to explore places on my days off, which gave me the chance to see much more of the area. Great food, wonderful hosts, and a memorable stay!! thank you!😊

This was my first ever world packers experience, and I'm so happy it was!! the home Colleen are such a welcoming family! From the moment I was picked up to the time I left I felt like family. The work is pretty simple, you just gotta be okay with getting your hands a bit dirty, the hours are very clear and layer out as well. I'd definitely recommend having real felt conversations with the two!! They have had a wonderful walk of life! I'd recommend this exchange to anyone who is willing to learn, listen, and see the beauty of New Zealand :)

The home Colleen were the perfect hosts. This exchange truly felt like home away from home. They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and still make you feel like you have family in NZ after you leave. I thoroughly enjoyed my three weeks here. I learned cooking tips and tricks from Colleen and enjoyed learning about the garden and cultivating from the home. Even more so, I enjoyed hearing about their extraordinary life's. Never a dull moment. A house full of fresh fruit and veggies and even better people!

I absolutely adored my time at the home and I am so thankful for how special they made my stay with them. The work is exactly as described on their profile and I enjoyed it a lot. It was a great opportunity to learn new things, spend time outside, and get to know the home Colleen better :)) I will treasure our discussions forever; they taught me many things and made me go further in my thinking. the home I shared a passion for writing and art, while Colleen and I had really nice moments in the kitchen or during dinner when she would tell me about her wonderful family 🥰

The home Colleen were really nice to me, they welcomed me as if I were a member of the family. I worked one hour in the kitchen with Colleen in the morning and then I worked 3 hours in the garden with the home. They were really nice to me, they were very interesting even though my English held me back a bit...
