The work was very easy. My main tasks were opening and closing the shop, washing the dishes, and helping out with whatever needed to be done. You do need to take initiative. The host and his family were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made me feel at home from the start. I really appreciated how local the experience was, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed volunteer opportunity while practicing their Spanish. Thank you Daniel!! 🥰

Daniel and his family approach their project with all their heart, often they just don't have enough time for a lot. And they really need help. I recommend. Just keep in mind that there will be little food, and if you are used to coffee or large portions, then count on yourself, buy more food. The family is very friendly and open to communication. You will be into the real world of Guatemala. I recommend.
