We’re looking for a friendly, open-minded and outgoing person who enjoys meeting people and treating everyone like a friend. You’ll help us prepare dinners, guide bike tours and occasionally support the reception team when needed. You’ll be part of a young and international team, meet travelers from all over the world and enjoy the experience of living in Barcelona.

I had an amazing experience with the hostel and Bike hostel, can't thank you guys enough! Shoutout to the other volunteer Camilla, the receptionists Mariana, Carly, Lily, Lautaro, Amuan, Diego, Hans and Havi and the owners; Fran and Marta. All the staff were helpful and patient with me. At first the bike route is a little tricky to memorise, but after the 8th time it just “clicked” for me and became much easier. I loved cooking family dinner where I was given the freedom to be creative and try new things. I learnt a lot about communication in this role. I would use this opportunity to explore barc!

One of the best experiences ever. Your main choirs are the bike tours and family dinners but also mini tasks that are completely doable. Being available and with a good attitude is key. I enjoyed so much my time here, the staff is very welcoming and ready to help in whatever they can. The room is a bit small but they are always adjusting things to make it more and more comfortable. I cannot recommend this volunteering enough! Thank you to everyone for making my stay so enjoyable, I miss you already ❤️

The hostel is locates in a centric area of Barcelona and having the bikes make it very easy to access everywhere in the city center. The work is mainly bike tours in the morning and family dinner in the evening. There are two volunteers and we have the total flexibility to decide how to distribute the work. I find the coworkers are very supportive and easy to work with, and the guests are mostly seasonal travellers, who have a respect to the local culture. In general a great experience, I was given a lot of freedom and respect for the work I did.

My time at the hostel and Bike was incredible. It was my first Worldpackers experience, and it truly could not have been better. The staff was amazing and made me feel welcome from the very beginning. The tasks were enjoyable and well organized, and I genuinely looked forward to contributing each day. The bike tours were such a fun way to start the morning, and the family dinners created a warm, social environment where it was easy to connect with people from all over the world. Overall, this experience exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

My experience at BedandBike hostel was an exceptional experience. The tasks were very enjoyable, especially for those who enjoy interacting with people. One of our main responsibilities was taking guests on bike tours of iconic Barcelona landmarks. In the evenings, we prepared a vegan dinner for guests who had signed up in advance. We also had plenty of room for creativity in preparing the dishes, which I really enjoyed. We always work with another volunteer, which made the atmosphere even better and make it easier to share responsibilities. Flexibility in schedule was also a big plus.
