LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO GIVE US A HEND SPECIFICALY WITH AN OLIVE HARVEST THIS FALL. WE PLAN TO BEGIN AROUND OCTOBER 10 AND FINISH BY OCTOB 25. WORK IS DONE ALL OUTSIDE IN A BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY SETTING. NO PREVKIOUS SKILLS NECESSARY. YOU WILL BE TIRED BUT YOU WILL ALSO SLEEP VERY WELL! :) THIS IS A SPECIAL TIME OF THE YEAR AND SPECIAL MOMENT AT OUR FARM/AGRITURISMO. TAKE SOME OLIVE OIL TO YOUR FAMILY! :)

I spend a month at the lodge with my boyfriend and the experience was truely amazing! We came to learn more about life in Italy and running an the lodge, since we are considering moving to Italy. Gaia was always kind, patient and really welcomed us in his home. He didn't mind our endless stream of questions and happily answered them all. The place itself is magical! We spend many afternoons enjoying the pool and the beautiful surroundings. Because we came with our own car we were free to explore the surrounding towns and nature, which are both amazing. Thank you Gaia for a lovely experience!

My stay at the lodge was amazing! The host and his family are genuinely welcoming and caring, always ready to compromise and find a solution if something's wrong. Gaia is soo kind and always willing to help and show you around. The working hours were always respected and if you find your own system in it, it'll be easy for you even though it can be tough sometimes (mostly because of the heat outside). This place is suitable for everyone who wants to escape their busy life and immerse in the beautiful nature and views. I couldn't have chosen a better place for my first time!

We had an amazing time with Gaia at the lodge, which is a truly special place. We learnt so much from Gaia and hope to take some of his patience, wisdom and kindness home with us. There are small local towns to explore and Gaia was happy for us to accompany him to the local hot springs and lake (and gelatoria). I would recommend anyone who is willing to get stuck in to spend some time at the lodge and you will be rewarded!

Charlotte and I had a great three weeks stay at the lodge. Gaia was a really friendly and caring host. Our tasks included preparing rooms for the guests, serving guests, cleaning, gardening, feeding the chickens and other household chores and the working hours were respected. At the time we stayed there, he had an international friends group visiting him where we were involved and could get to know so many kind people. In our freetime we could visit the cute surrounding villages, went hiking and could da little trip to Florence. During our time at the lodge we made so many wonderful memories :)

Gaia is a very patient man. After i took the wrong bus on day 0 and fumbled several times learning the tasks, he was always all smiles and gently reminding us what to do. The projects on the farm side were a lot of fun to learn through as well, I often didn't see the hours go by. I was lucky enough to be alone in my accomodation, but keep in mind there is a possibility you will be sharing your private space with others. I recommend wholeheartedly going to the lodge if you're looking for a nature retreat kind of experience.
