Volunteers will be treated as part of the family, sharing our special home in the countryside. We need help with gardening, we have a large flower garden and grow our own vegetables. At mealtimes we appreciate volunteers doing their share of washing up and meal preparation. We provide support to volunteers to supervise tasks so experience not necessary but some knowledge would be an advantage. Enthusiasm and interest in gardening essential.

We had a lovely experience with Tim and Phoebe in Northern Ireland. Our tasks involved gardening and maintaining the outdoor areas. While some tasks were more physically demanding than others, the rainy weather sometimes made things harder. However, their kindness and welcoming attitude made our efforts worthwhile. We enjoyed Tim's weekend meals, Phoebe's home cooking, and exploring the beautiful west coast with her. It was also a pleasure to share traditional Moroccan dishes with them and see how much they enjoyed our cuisine. Overall, a wonderful experience that we hope to repeat!

Volunteering with Tim and Phoebe in Ireland was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home on their gorgeous, sprawling property. Every weekend, Tim prepared a dish from a different country, and we joked that we were taking a food trip around the world. Add to that a beautiful garden, great company, and endless stories shared around the table. They were patient, generous, and genuinely kind people. If you're looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, I can't recommend them enough. Thank you Tim and Phoebe and may your lives be filled with happines💖

It was a great experience, Phoebe and Tim are lovely people, they made me feel welcome. When I arrived, their daughters, son-in-law, and grandson Mateo were there visiting. My first week I spent helping look after Mateo, who is a super cute and adorable little boy. After they left, I went to work in the garden, and I really enjoyed my volunteer work.The conversations, the delicious meals, the incredible scenery—I wouldn't have enough words to recommend it. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place, this is your place.

My time in Ireland with Tim and Phoebe was amazing! They were amazing hosts with an amazing huge property. Food was incredible, the garden was beautiful, and their company was perfect. We told so many stories and I learned so much about Ireland's history and so many things about gardening. They were very patient and kind, as it was my first time gardening and my first volunteer trip. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful experience in beautiful nature. Thank you Tim and Phoebe❤️

It was really lovely to stay in Phoebe and Tim's house 😊 The house as well as the property was beautiful (and huge)!! Tasks were simple and nice to do, work hours communicated well and were flexible per day, depending on weather etc :) Days off were very flexible as well and we were able to see Derry, Ballycastle and do 2 hikes along the north coast which was beautiful. I will miss the food, company and card games!
