Weimar is a charming city, with good connections to nearby cities such as Dresden or even Bamberg. I also had a great time not only with the volunteers but also with the staff. They both were all very kind, friendly, and helpful. 🤍 The schedule was arranged in advance, and I especially appreciated that they kept my arrival and departure days free, which gave me enough time to get settled in and prepare before leaving. It was such a wonderful experience, and I'm really grateful for the time I spent there!

The hostel is a great place to stay if you're interested in seeing lots of places in Germany - once you buy a Deutschland ticket you can get trains from the station to places like Leipzig, Dresden and other cities easily. Although Weimar is a quieter city, it's not hard to get to other places for a day out. The hostel itself is only a 15 minute walk from the station. The work at the hostel is quite easy and the hours tend to be respected. It's mostly kitchen work - washing dishes, mopping floors etc. Plus the hosts are flexible if you want to swap shifts with another worldpacker/change days.

I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel! The staff are very friendly, organized, and always willing to help. The work we did during the volunteering was calm and easy, and overall, I really enjoyed the routine. One of the things I liked the most was the opportunity to visit 6 different cities during the volunteering experience, which made it even more interesting and special. Another very positive point is that the volunteering allows us to save a lot of money on food.

It was a wonderful experience! This was our first Worldpackers experience, and it definitely made us want to do more. Everything is extremely organized, the tasks are clear and we always worked as agreed, within the scheduled hours. The hosts are very kind and helpful. The room is comfortable, and the location is great for exploring the hostel other places nearby. The food provided is also enough for more than one meal a day, which is great for saving money. We loved our two weeks here and would definitely come back!
