I really enjoyed my time here. The location couldn't be better, and Kirsten, Maria, and the staff make you feel right at home. I learned so much and appreciated how easy it is to share meals together. Getting to know and socializing with the team is a must. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time at the guest house . Kristen and all of the managers Maria and Cedric were incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive from the first day. The working hours were clearly organized, and they were very flexible and accommodating because I was taking a German language course at the same time. The volunteers are treated exceptionally well. I had a private room, received a transportation ticket, and was given a generous breakfast budget. I cherish my time here. I met wonderful people and learned a lot. I highly recommend the guest house to anyone looking for a volunteering !

Wonderful experience! I didn't understand the guest house concept at first, but this perfect hostel–hotel hybrid truly won me over. The highlight: ONE private volunteer room, no sharing, with your own bathroom — almost unheard of in hostels. Kirsten, the owner, is a warm and inspiring host, always smiling, with breakfasts that nourish the soul. The small team feels like family. Housekeeping with hotel-level detail, great energy, and an unbeatable location in Hamburg. I'll definitely be back!
