It was a very rewarding experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone, though a good command of Spanish is very helpful for this work.

This was one of the most rewarding volunteering experiences I've had. I had a great experience in the school, I always felt safe and comfortable and the people were incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was well organized, and I felt supported throughout my stay. The school is welcoming, well-managed, and filled with enthusiastic people who make every day enjoyable. I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who wants a meaningful volunteering experience in a welcoming school and a city where I always felt safe and comfortable. I hope many more volunteers get to experience this.

My experience at SALC the school was truly heartwarming. From the very beginning, the hosts made me feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their kindness goes beyond simple hospitality, it's clear that they truly care about the well-being of every volunteer. What made this experience even more special was the people. My colleagues, fellow volunteers, and especially the students brought so much warmth, joy, and connection into my daily life. The SALC space itself reflects the same care: it is clean, organized, and comfortable, making it a pleasant place to spend your time working and living.
