Nao is such a good and comfortable host, and her parents are always happy to see you and trying to comunicate! I also enjoyed a lot the food, especially because it was made by the parents! (It can't get any more traditional). Overall the work I did, for me it was perfect, I got back to my carpenters basic skills and even got to get better at them, building from little furniture to even a full house. I met a lot of people from Thai and outsiders. Thanks Nao for having me. Also especial thanks to Tung Tung, Dum Dum and Journey, I hope we see each other soon! Leo

My one-month stay at Binsi went incredibly well! Nao is an amazing person (and an Army too 😉). This is the perfect experience if you want to learn more about a new approach to education and learning. I highly recommend getting in touch with Nao to learn about the workshops and projects. being able to see and take part in a project from start to finish is truly inspiring.

This volunteering was an eye opening experience, and I had a lot of fun. I applied to teach but instead I learnt a lot about democratic schools and helped build the school, the unstructured nature was slightly difficult for me.

I absolutely loved my stay at Binsi! It truly felt like home. Waking up to the dogs joining you for breakfast was such a joy, and all the food lovingly prepared by Nao's mom made it even more special. As a volunteer, you have the freedom to teach in your own way and share whatever skills you have with the kids. At the same time, Binsi is a place where you can learn and grow too—I learned new skills like editing a website and gardening, and you don't need to be an expert when you arrive. I was so sad to leave this place. What Nao built here over the past ten years is truly incredible!
